ShopAtHome.com Holiday Shopping Tip Contest Rules

  1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER:
    Open to legal residents physically residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of October 1, 2009. The Promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico and wherever prohibited by law. The prizes will be awarded on or about November 9, 2009.


  2. HOW TO ENTER:
    Must be a member of ShopAtHome.com to win; and must be a ShopAtHome Facebook Fan.
    1. To become a member of ShopAtHome.com, go to https://secure.shopathome.com/Discounts/join.aspx.
    2. To become a Facebook Fan of ShopAtHome.com, go to http://www.facebook.com/ShopAtHomeCoupons.
    3. Post a Holiday Money-Saving Shopping Tip on the ShopAtHome Facebook Wall by November 4, 2009 at http://www.facebook.com/ShopAtHomeCoupons.
    4. Contact your Facebook Friends and encourage them to post Holiday Money-Saving Shopping Tips as well.
    5. An extra entry into the Promotion is granted if the Money-Saving Shopping Tip posted receives a "Like" or a "Comment." Only one additional entry per person, regardless of the number of "Likes" or "Comments" received.


  3. PRIZES:
    The top 30 entries will be selected based on entry quality. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will then be randomly selected from the top 30.  Entries must be received by 11:55 PM on November 4, 2009. Total approximate value of prizes: one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

    1. Grand Prize Winner: The Grand Prize Winner will receive a $500 VISA Gift Card.  The Grand Prize Winner will choose five (5) of his/her Facebook Friends who are also registered members of ShopAtHome.com, who are ShopAtHome.com Facebook Fans, and who have posted a Holiday Money-Saving Shopping Tip on ShopAtHome's Facebook wall. Each of these five Facebook Friends must be 18 years of age or older as of October 1, 2009; and each will receive a $100 VISA gift card.

    No prize substitution allowed except at discretion of the Sponsor. Prizes are not transferable, except to a surviving spouse residing in the same household.


  4. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
    THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS APPLY: Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, incompletely received, mutilated or illegible, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser or network failure, malfunction, congestion or incompatibility at Sponsor's website or elsewhere, will not be eligible and Sponsor is not responsible for any technical problems related to online entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor.

    Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Promotion in the event that it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired or if the Promotion cannot be conducted as planned by causes beyond the control of the Sponsor. In the event of such termination, a final winner will be selected from all valid entries received up to that point in time.

    Sponsor is not liable for lost, stolen, misdirected or late entries. Winners will be determined by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Promotion.

    Sponsor owns all content that is posted on ShopAtHome's Facebook wall.

    A Facebook Friend who has been named by Winner to receive a prize and who has verified his/her mailing address shall be deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions of this Promotion.

    No substitutions for the prizes except as offered by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. All taxes on prizes and incidental expenses not mentioned herein are the responsibility of the Winner, if applicable. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, a publicity release (where permitted by law), and a liability release which must be signed and returned within 7 days of receipt or the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected. Winner's acceptance of a prize constitutes the grant to Sponsor in this Promotion of an unconditional right to use Winner's name, address (city and state only), likeness, photograph, biographical and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the exclusive right to interpret all conditions relating to this Promotion.


  5. NOTIFICATION OF A WINNER:
    Potential Winner will be notified via the email address provided upon entering on or about November 9, 2009.

    Winner must send Sponsor his/her mailing address within five (5) days of notification from Sponsor of winning status. If Winner fails to respond to Sponsor with his/her mailing address within five days of notification from Sponsor of winning status, a substitute winner will be selected.

    Winner must send Sponsor the names of five Facebook Friends he/she has chosen to receive prizes. Facebook Friends referred must have different mailing addresses from Winner and different mailing addresses from each other. Each of these five Facebook Friends has five (5) days from the date Sponsor has been notified of their names to respond to Sponsor with their mailing address as well as to post a Holiday Money Saving Shopping Tip on ShopAtHome's Facebook Wall. Facebook Friends chosen by Winner must also be registered members of ShopAtHome.com and a Facebook Fan of ShopAtHome. If a named Facebook Friend does not respond to Sponsor within five days and post a Holiday Money Saving Shopping Tip on ShopAtHome's Facebook Wall, that Facebook Friend's prize is forfeited and no replacement Facebook Friend will be sought.

    Winner's name and Winner's chosen Facebook Friends' names will be posted on Facebook and on ShopAtHome.com.


  6. ELIGIBILITY:
    This Contest is offered only in the U.S. and is open to legal U.S. residents only. Employees of Belcaro Group, Inc. and members of their immediate families are not eligible. Winner and all Facebook Friend referrals must have different mailing addresses. All federal, state, local, provincial and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Belcaro Group, Inc. reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Participant who fails to comply with these Contest Rules, who is found tampering with the entry process or who attempts to enter the contest in any manner or through any means other than described in these Contest Rules.


  7. RELEASE:
    By entering, Participants agree to be bound by these Promotion rules and participants release Belcaro Group and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability resulting from acceptance of prize. Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.

    By confirming their mailing address, Winner's selected Facebook Friends are deemed to be Participants and agree to be bound by these Promotion rules and release Belcaro Group and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability resulting from acceptance of prize. Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the Sponsor.

    Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this promotion but in no event attorneys' fees; and Participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.


  8. OFFICIAL RULES/WINNER REQUEST:

  9. RESTRICTIONS:
    Belcaro Group, Inc is not responsible for any late or lost entries, or malfunctions that may occur. By entering the Promotion and/or verifying mailing address, the Participant acknowledges he/she has read and agrees to all the rules. Participants agree to release and hold harmless Belcaro Group, Inc and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from any damage, injury, death, loss, or other liability that may arise from Participant's participation in the Promotion or the awarding, acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. All Participants agree that United States law shall apply exclusively to the Promotion and that any dispute with respect to the Promotion shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in the State of Colorado.
