Gardening Supplies with a Free Discount Coupon

Yard work is something I don’t look forward to. You know, mowing the lawn, fertilizing, planting flowers and gardens, pulling the weeds after you have planted. Frankly it is pretty expensive to make a yard look nice and neat and then keep it that way for the rest of the spring and summer. You have to pay for lawn mower maintenance, put gas in the mower, and purchase plastic sacks to put the clippings in just to mow the lawn. Thinking about it makes me depressed. Spring should be a happy and cheerful season.

Don’t get me wrong, I like to be outside and work in the yard on a clear day, I just don’t appreciate having to purchase weed and feed, new hoses, a new spade and all those flowers. Luckily, I remembered seeing an advertisement about a discount coupon I could use for my yard care supplies. I sifted through the pages at my counter and found the advertisement depicting flowers and seeds and the coupon. It also had a website I could check that would update the discounts and coupons.

I checked online and there were other places that also had a free discount coupon. One place had a free discount coupon for pots and planters. This was perfect. I could get my yard started early this year instead of putting it off until the scorching summer sun would dry up all my dirt. The pots would be great for my back porch.

I printed off a discount coupon for a gardening place and snatched the ad in the paper before heading out to my car. While driving, I mentally made a list of things I needed to start my yard work. First a new pair of gardening gloves, a new hose for the front yard, some of that ant killing pesticide to get rid of the bugs in my back garden and some lilies to plant next to my front stoop. I also needed something to go in those pots I wanted.

At a red light I scanned a free discount coupon that told me I could take twenty percent off my entire purchase from the gardening section of the store. This would be my first stop. Then if I saved enough money there I could afford to try the other places.

I walked into the garden center and was greeted by a smiling cashier in a blue apron. I asked him where the gloves were located and he walked me to a shelf next to another set of doors. Now, I am the type of person who generally places function over form, but some of these gloves were super cute. They had a blue striped pair, a pair with daises, and another pair that had frogs on it. Then, just below, they had little kid gardening gloves too. I picked the daisy pair for myself and a tiny froggy pair for my eight year old.

She loved to help me in the garden because it gave her an excuse to get dirty. Then the thought came to me that her favorite flowers were lilies of the valley. I would have to get some of those for her to plant. I stuffed the free discount coupon into my jeans pocket and grabbed a basket. After I had the gloves, the hose, the seeds, and some flowers I felt I had done pretty well. I took my items back to the register and pulled the free discount coupon from my pocket actually excited to get started in my yard.
