ShopAtHome.com's Cash Back program does not request your credit card information in order to begin earning cash rebates. ShopAtHome.com will, however, request a credit card as payment when ordering a catalog or magazine subscription. What is JavaScript and how do I enable it in my browser?
JavaScript is a scripting language that adds interactivity to Web pages. ShopAtHome.com uses JavaScript on many pages that contain forms. See below for instructions on enabling JavaScript in various Web Browsers:

Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher for Windows:

  1. Click the Tools menu. (For Internet Explorer 7.0, click on the Tools button).
  2. Click Internet Options to open the Internet Options dialog box.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click the Internet symbol (a globe).
  5. Click the Custom Level button to open the Security Settings dialog box.
  6. In the Settings list, scroll down to Scripting.
  7. Under Active Scripting, click Enable so that a dot appears next to it.
  8. Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog box.

I recently made a purchase.  Why don’t I see it in my Cash Back History?
At ShopAtHome.com, we understand how important Cash Back rebates are to our members.  We work closely with our stores to ensure that all purchases are posted to our members accounts in a timely manner.  In some cases, however, it may take as many as 30 days for an online store to submit purchase information to us. If it has been more 30 days since your purchase from one of our online stores, please visit Customer Service on our site to submit a Cash Back Rebate Inquiry. 

If you have multiple ShopAtHome.com accounts, the rebate in question may be attached to a different account.  Be sure to check all your accounts for the missing cash back rebate.  Please note that while ShopAtHome.com allows multiple member accounts, cash back rewards cannot be transferred between accounts.

I made a purchase. When do I get a check?
To keep our costs low (and your rebates high) ShopAtHome.com will send a rebate check when your account balance reaches the $20 minimum. If you made purchases that have posted to your account within a payout period and your mailing address has been verified you should be eligible to receive a cash back check. If your account has not reached the minimum of $20.00, your cash back balance stays in your account and once you reach the monthly minimum, we will send your check. Please be sure to check the cash back payout schedule on myShopAtHome.com.

Why is there a deduction on my account balance?
ShopAtHome.com receives all your purchase information directly from the stores. If there is a deduction it could be because of a few things.  1. The item purchased was returned or the order was canceled. Cash back cannot be issued for items returned. 2. The item purchased was exchanged. If the replaced item is ordered through the ShopAtHome.com site then cash back is rewarded. 3. When the purchase has been deducted it's because a coupon was used that was sent to them either via email or through direct mail.  These are considered unauthorized coupons for our site so a deduction will be made to your account.

What if I decide to return an order?
Returned orders are accepted according to each individual Affiliate Store's return policy. If you return an order, then your rebate will be subtracted from your account if it has already been added in. Therefore, if you return an order, your account may show a negative credit.

If a problem arises or you need to ask a question about a specific transaction, you are able to refer to the Track Back Number so we can get to the bottom of it quickly. When will my travel purchase show up on my account?
Similar to merchandise purchases which are recognized after the order is complete, travel purchases are recognized when travel is complete.  For example, if you book your travel on 3/1/2009 for airfare, hotel and car for 6/1/2009 through 6/10/2009, your qualifying cash back rebate should show up on your account after 6/10/2009 but no later than 7/10/2009, allowing for those merchants that take longer to submit purchases. If it has been more than 30 days after your reservation has completed and your account does not show your cash back, please visit Customer Service on our site to submit a Cash Back Rebate Inquiry.  Be sure to select the Travel option.

I installed the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar, but I don't see it.
You may need to close all of your browser windows and open a new one to see and activate the Toolbar. If you still do not see the Toolbar, it may be hidden.

To unhide the Toolbar, on your menu bar, open the View menu, and select "Toolbars". Make sure there is a checkmark next to "ShopAtHome.com Toolbar". If there's no checkmark, the Toolbar won't appear. If it's already checked, your browser may have become confused - try unchecking it and rechecking it. If you don't see the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar mentioned there, you don't have it installed. Please go to the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar page and install it.

The ShopAtHome.com Toolbar works with Internet Explorer version 6.0 and up, and Firefox version 1.5 and up. The ShopAtHome.com Toolbar works under Windows 2000 and XP.

How do I uninstall the Free ShopAtHome.com Toolbar?
If at any point you decide that you like shopping directly though the ShopAtHome.com site and prefer not to use the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar, it can be easily removed from your computer.

For Internet Explorer Users:

  1. Locate the ShopAtHome.com Uninstall program on your computer. To do this, click the Windows Button on your keyboard and type ‘ShopAtHome.com Uninstall’ and press Enter.

    Note: This uninstall program only exists for newer versions of the toolbar on Windows 7 and Windows Vista. If you cannot locate this program please see the alternate methods for uninstalling the toolbar.

  2. A confirmation dialog will appear, click Uninstall.
  3. If prompted, allow the uninstall program to close all Internet Browsers.
  4. Complete or exit out of the uninstall survey.
  5. Close the uninstall program.

For Firefox Users:
  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open.
  2. In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Extensions panel.
  3. Select the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar.
  4. Click the Remove button.
  5. Complete or exit out of the uninstall survey.
  6. Click Restart Now to finish uninstalling the add-on.

For Chrome Users:
  1. At the top-right of the Chrome window, click the Wrench icon, click Tools, and then click Extensions.
  2. An Extensions page will open, click the Uninstall link underneath the ShopAtHome.com extension.
  3. A confirmation window will appear, click Uninstall.

Alternate Methods for Uninstalling the Toolbar (Windows Only):

Windows 7 or Windows Vista

Note: These instructions are for uninstalling the 6.0.2.0 Toolbar.

  1. Click Start then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Uninstall a program under Programs.
  3. Select the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar, and then click Uninstall.

  4. Note: if you don’t see the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar, look for Select Rebates, and then click Uninstall.

  5. A dialog box confirming your request may appear, click Uninstall.
  6. Complete or exit out of the uninstall survey.
  7. A dialog box confirming the toolbar uninstall may appear, click Close.
  8. Reboot your system to complete the uninstall process.

Note: These instructions are for uninstalling the 5.2.0.0 Toolbar.

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Uninstall a program under Programs.
  3. Select the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar, and then click Uninstall.

  4. Note: If you don't see the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar, look for Select Rebates, and then click Unistall/Change.

  4. A dialog box confirming your request may appear, click Uninstall.

How does the catalog and magazine electronic shopping cart work?
Putting an item in your shopping cart does NOT mean you have to order it! Shopping carts keep track of the items you might like to order. When you see an item you're interested in, click on the "Add to Cart" button so you don't forget about it. This will put the item in your shopping cart. To continue shopping, simply click on the "Continue Shopping" button at the bottom of your shopping cart and browse at your leisure.

You can place items in and take them out of your cart any time. Think of it as an online grocery list. When you're finished shopping, you can review what's in your cart, keep the things you really want, and remove the ones you don't by simply selecting "Remove". You may request up to 12 free items and 8 magazine subscriptions per week, and 30 items total per order.

How do I place an order?
Once you've reviewed your shopping cart and are satisfied with your order, follow the screen prompts for "Check Out" to submit your order. You should receive an order confirmation by e-mail within 48 hours. If you do not receive an e-mail verification of your online order within 48 hours, e-mail us with your name, zip code, and date of order. Your order may not have reached us.

How do I make changes to my order?
Before you submit your order, you can easily make changes to it. Simply click on the cart link at the top right hand side of the page. Then click on "Remove" for any items you do not want, and these items will be eliminated from your cart. To add items to your shopping cart as you browse, simply select "Add to Cart".

If you need to make changes after you have confirmed your order, simply send an e-mail to service@ShopAtHome.com with your first name, last name, zip code, date of order and your requested changes. Without all of this information we will not be able to locate your order.

How do I know you received my order?
When you order online, you should receive an order confirmation e-mail within 48 hours. If you do not receive an e-mail confirmation from your online order within 48 hours, please e-mail us at service@ShopAtHome.com with your name, zip code, and date of order, as your order may not have transmitted properly.

Must I have an e-mail address to order a catalog or magazine from ShopAtHome.com?
Yes. Upon receipt of your online order, we send you an e-mail message for order verification. Orders without a valid e-mail address cannot be processed.

Can I order more than one catalog or magazine at a time?
Yes, you can order up to a cumulative total of 12 FREE catalogs and 8 magazine subscriptions per week. You may also place as many orders as you wish per week. Each individual order may include up to 30 items total. After placing your first item in your shopping cart (by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button) simply click on the "Continue Shopping" button at the bottom of your shopping cart and browse at your leisure. Click on the "Add to Cart" button for any item you might like to order and it will add it to your shopping cart!

Remember, you can take things in and out of your cart any time. Think of it as an online grocery list. When you're finished shopping, you can review what's in your cart, keep the things you really want, and delete the ones you don't by simply clicking on "Remove".

How do I cancel my magazine subscription?
Many of our magazine subscriptions have a 90-day money back guarantee. To cancel, simply e-mail our customer service center, service@ShopAtHome.com within 90 days of your order date to receive a full refund. Please provide your order number, full name, full address and magazine title in your cancellation request.

How do I add items to a list?
Select the "Add to Wish List" option in your ShopAtHome.com Toolbar when you find a product on another site that you want to add to your list. You will then see some default product information. You can save the product information to your list as is, or edit the details and then save it. After you click "Save Now" the product will be added to your list.
