Just the idea of the s’more, that ooey-gooey classic summer treat, is enough to make anyone’s mouth water. One of the most iconic American flavors – the chocolate, graham cracker and marshmallow trio is also a Fourth of July staple. So, as you make plans to ooh and aah during the upcoming firework displays, be sure to try out one of these s’more-inspired treats that take that classic U.S. taste to whole other level. Now, that’s something to ooh and aah over.

S’mores cookie bars

Few things are better than a perfectly grilled marshmallow smashed between chocolate and graham crackers, but cookies may be one of them. So, what could be better than the marriage of the two? These S’mores cookie bars by Sally from the blog Sally’s Baking Addiction, encompass everything we love in cookies infused with the to-die-for s’more flavor. Make these ahead and serve them on the Fourth for a stress-free dessert – if you can resist eating them before the big day.

S’moretini

Your guests will be asking for s’more all night with this sweet libation. This cocktail, made by Jen — aka The Cocktail Lady — of the blog A Year of Cocktails, is a blend of all things s’mores. Marshmallow vodka and a chocolate graham cracker rim highlight this drink. We can’t wait to try a S’moretini after a day filled with outdoor games and barbecues – it’s the perfect post-firework drink before the party ends. Garnish with a graham cracker and chocolate covered marshmallow and enjoy. Cheers!
