Best value for your money
As a two person household food often gets wasted. The foodsaver has paid for itself within the first 2 months on food that stayed fresh and no longer had to be thrown out. I highly suggest you pick up some mason jars and get the jar sealer. . . I have kept homemade soups in the fridge for a month in a sealed mason jar! Its a well made product and the customer service rocks! I had an issue with a container they sold and they sent me a new one right away, no questions asked. . . no sending them back the defective container. There are always coupons around and free shipping deals so the bags are reasonable when this is applied. I think any household that doesn't have one is throwing money away. . . I have saved thousands over the past year or so in food that got eaten and not trashed. I also put food like soups and stews in a pint mason jar and bring it to work and heat up in the microwave. . . not more lunch time expenses for me!.

One small mis-step but AWESOME customer service.
This is not my first time buying from them but it is was my first actual foodsaver. Got a fabulous deal from being on the mailing list 50%. Arrived in less than a week there was an item missing from the box. After a quick call to customer service (which was EXCELLENT) the missing items are on their way with a minimum of fuss. .
