I purchased a $25 saveology deal for $50 worth of product. Brookstone has really unusual and cool products. I wanted a waterproof set of speakers to use camping and at the beach. I found a great set and to top it off they were on sale. So with the Saveology deal and the sale price + ''get this'' free shipping I got a $149. 99 waterproof speaker/ipod box for a little over $100. And I didn't have to use a dime of gas to get it!!!!! Shopping on-line rocks!!!.

I was interested in buying the n-a-p Massaging bed rest. Here are the series of events related to this purchase. 1. I could not buy it at the store and was asked to purchase it online. 2. I purchased it online and paid for it via PayPal on May 09, 2012. 3. Since the massaging bed rest was not as comfortable as it seemed, I took it to the store to return it. The store could not credit me my money since I had paid via PayPal. I was asked to call cstomer service. 4. I called customer service and I was asked to ship the product back. I was told I will receive my refund 2-3 days after the item was received. 5. I shipped the item back, the item was received at their facilities on Jun 07, 2012. The item was shipped in original packaging and was unused. 6. I called customer service after a couple of days to ask for my refund, the representative confirmed that the product was received and she will investigate why I have not received my refund. I was told someone would call me back about this- I received no phone call. 7. I called customer service again in a few days' time and got the same response from the customer service rep. 8. I finally received my refund on July 15, 2012-more than a month after the product was received by Brookstone! Never will I make an online purchase at Brookstone again!.

The item was easy to find on the website, easy to order and came very quickly. It is exactly as pictured and was packed very securely. The price was less than half of the identical item at other sites. I will be a long-time customer!.

I am really disappointed with Brookstone because my rebate was posted and then reversed/deducted from my ShopAtHome account, however, I did not return or exchange the item, nor did I use a coupon (all conditions of having it deducted). I currently still have the item in my possession and I do plan on keeping it. I specifically ordered the product from this merchant due to the rebate. I sent an inquiry to SAH customer service and they contacted the merchant and said that I must have done the above, but I didn't. Again, highly disappointed! .
