First of all, we really want to thank everyone who participated in the Grocery Giveaway… it was so hard for us to make a decision, but we really had to choose someone!
And the winners are….
Grocery Guide – “Have your own price book so you know the bottom line and not to be fooled by the “sale” price everywhere. Combine manufacturer’s coupon with store coupon (lots of store issue their own saving coupon, and you can use one each on the same item) so you can max the savings. Also, study the ad before shopping, have coupon matches and ready, then hit the store to save time and hassles.” – TCarolineP
Facebook – “My tip is that I I keep an inventory of all the items in my freezers, fridge and cupboard. It’s posted to my fridge door and really helps me save so much becasue I no longer buy duplicates of items! Before I started doing this I would never know… what I had and would be buying the same things over and over or constantly digging through everything to see if I had one particular item! It also helps me plan my menu! I can stand there and write my menu out right on my dry erase board
” - Henrietta N.
And now for the Runners Up:
Grocery Guide -”Donate $20 for your local community savings coupon book- it goes to a good cause, plus you have 1000′s of coupons that don’t expire for a year! Each time my husband and I go on a date, we use our coupon book to figure out where to go. Keeps it fun and cheap!” - Tanzania
Facebook – “Take whatever cash that you want to use, this saves. Have your coupons and store sales together to save more. On Mondays is a great day to shop, mark downs on meats, lots of day old breads, muffins and pastries, freeze in single bags, you have a grab and …go. Ask if the store takes other store coupons, many do and use and save big. Always get a raincheck for items that are on sale that they ran out of. Most rain checks are good for a month! Happy shopping!!” – Peggy G.
“Each and every time I shop online I search for the online store at the ShopAtHome.com website to see what coupons and/or what the cash back is for purchases. You absolutely can’t go wrong and it’s so… easy!!! I have saved/earned a bunch… of money. Thanks ShopAtHome for all the extra cash in my pocket!!! ;o}” - Jennifer H.
