ShopAtHome.com's Cash Back program does not request your credit card information in order to begin earning cash rebates. What is JavaScript and how do I enable it in my browser?
JavaScript is a scripting language that adds interactivity to Web pages. ShopAtHome.com uses JavaScript on many pages that contain forms. See below for instructions on enabling JavaScript in various Web Browsers:
Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher for Windows:
- Click the Tools menu. (For Internet Explorer 7.0, click on the Tools button).
- Click Internet Options to open the Internet Options dialog box.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Internet symbol (a globe).
- Click the Custom Level button to open the Security Settings dialog box.
- In the Settings list, scroll down to Scripting.
- Under Active Scripting, click Enable so that a dot appears next to it.
- Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog box.
- Click Yes in the Warning! Message box.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.

- Click Edit; then click Preferences.

How do I get started with the Toolbar?
Click here and follow the instructions to install the Toolbar and its associated software, SelectRebates, onto your computer. The SelectRebates software is the "operating system" of the Toolbar, and must be installed on your computer in order for the Toolbar to function.
The ShopAtHome Toolbar is designed to be used with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 and up, and Firefox version 1.5 and up. The minimum system requirements for installing and running the ShopAtHome Toolbar are Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Server.

I installed the Toolbar, but I don't see it.
You may need to close all of your browser windows and open a new one to see and activate the toolbar. If you still do not see the toolbar, it may be hidden.
To unhide the toolbar, on your menu bar, open the View menu, and select “Toolbars”. Make sure there’s a checkmark next to “ShopAtHome Toolbar”. If there’s no checkmark, the toolbar won’t appear. If it’s already checked, your browser may have become confused – try unchecking it and rechecking it. If you don’t see the ShopAtHome Toolbar mentioned there, you don’t have it installed. Please go to the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar page and install it.
The ShopAtHomeToolbar works with Internet Explorer version 6.0 and up, and Firefox version 1.5 and up. The ShopAtHome Toolbar works under Windows 2000 and XP.

How do I uninstall the Toolbar?
To uninstall the Toolbar and its associated Software, go to your Windows Control Panel. Next, click on "Add/Remove Programs". Our Toolbar and its Software are listed as SelectRebates. Click on the name SelectRebates, then click on Change/Remove. You will see a grey box which gives you a choice of uninstalling both the Toolbar and SelectRebates software, or only the Toolbar. (Please note that if you uninstall the SelectRebates Software, the Toolbar is also removed.) Make your selection to uninstall only the Toolbar; or both the SelecRebates Software and Toolbar, and click "ok." The Toolbar and/or Software are removed after your reboot your computer.

I just made a purchase. Why hasn't my account been credited with a rebate?
Depending on the store, this can take up to 30 days. We credit your account with a rebate when the store you've bought from tells us about your purchase. If you don't see a credit to your account after 30 days, please fill out our rebate inquiry form Make sure that cookies are enabled on your browser. If your browser doesn't allow cookies, then we don't know when or how much to pay you. For more on cookies, see the section above in these FAQs "What are cookies and how do I make sure my computer is accepting them?". Many stores don't keep records beyond a 60 day period, so we must be notified within 60 days of the purchase transaction date in order to investigate.

When do I get my cash?
We mail you a check 60 days after the end of every month, provided that you have a minimum balance of $20 in your Cash Back account. Before we send you a check, we send you an email to make sure that we have your correct mailing address. If you don't confirm your address by answering our email, then your cash remains in your account and we will attempt again to verify your mailing address in order to mail it to you on the next monthly payment date.

Why is there a deduction on my account balance?
When you return an item that you've purchased through our site, your rebate on that purchase is automatically deducted from your account balance. So, you might see a negative credit (or a deduction) on your account balance.

What if I decide to return an order?
Returned orders are accepted according to each individual Affiliate Store's return policy. If you return an order, then your rebate will be subtracted from your account if it has already been added in. Therefore, if you return an order, your account may show a negative credit.

Unfortunately, no, when you return an item, your purchase and rebate will be reversed in your account. If you order the exchange item through ShopAtHome.com then you will earn your rebate on the item ordered in exchange.

How do I uninstall the SelectRebates Software?
If at any point you decide that you like shopping directly though the ShopAtHome.com site and prefer not to use SelectRebates, it can be easily removed in your computer's Control Panel, under Add/Remove Programs. Our Software may be listed as any of the following: SelectRebates, Golden Retriever Select Rebates Software, ShopAtHome Select Agent, SAHAGENT, or Golden Retrieve Cash Back. Click on the name of our Software, then click on Change/Remove. Once you reboot, the software will be removed.
Another way to uninstall the software is to go to http://discounts.shopathome.com/ManualRemove.asp and follow the directions posted there.
If you encounter difficulties in removing the Software, please contact us at www.shopathome.com/contact.aspx. Please note that third party spyware removal programs, such as Norton or McAfee, do not completely remove the SelectRebates software, and we strongly advise against using these programs to remove our Software.

Putting an item in your shopping cart does NOT mean you have to order it! Shopping carts keep track of the items you might like to order. When you see an item you're interested in, click on the "Add to Cart" button so you don't forget about it. This will put the item in your shopping cart. To continue shopping, simply click on the "Continue Shopping" button at the bottom of your shopping cart and browse at your leisure.
You can place items in and take them out of your cart any time. Think of it as an online grocery list. When you're finished shopping, you can review what's in your cart, keep the things you really want, and remove the ones you don't by simply selecting "Remove". You may request up to 12 free items and 8 magazine subscriptions per week, and 30 items total per order.

How do I make changes to my order?
Before you submit your order, you can easily make changes to it. Simply click on the cart link at the top right hand side of the page. Then click on "Remove" for any items you do not want, and these items will be eliminated from your cart. To add items to your shopping cart as you browse, simply select "Add to Cart".
If you need to make changes after you have confirmed your order, simply send an email to Service@ShopAtHome.com with your first name, last name, zip code, date of order and your requested changes. Without all of this information we will not be able to locate your order.
How do I know you received my order?
When you order online, you should receive an order confirmation email within 48 hours. Yes, you can order up to a cumulative total of 12 FREE catalogs and 8 magazine subscriptions per week. You may also place as many orders as you wish per week. Each individual order may include up to 30 items total. After placing your first item in your shopping cart (by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button) simply click on the "Continue Shopping" button at the bottom of your shopping cart and browse at your leisure. Click on the "Add to Cart" button for any item you might like to order and it will add it to your shopping cart!
Remember, you can take things in and out of your cart any time. Think of it as an online grocery list. When you're finished shopping, you can review what's in your cart, keep the things you really want, and delete the ones you don't by simply clicking on "Remove".
