Jeannette says: I will never shop there ever again.The animals they buy to sell in their store come from an animal factory who only cares about profit and not the animals.Petsmart and petco know this, seen the proof and yet they still get their pets from the same company.Read and watch up on it www.petsmartcruelty.com I am a big animal lover and activist who stands up for animals when their voices can't stand up for themselves. So keep on shopping at petsmart and petco you are just as bad as they are.

Petlover says: Jeannette is correct in that the puppies sold at not only Petsmart, but most all pet retailers, come from puppy mills. I am now in the process of teaching a 5 year old Beabull, used as a breed *** for the first 5 years of her life, how to be a loved pet. She was USED for 5 years and then dumped in a kill pound. Had we not rescued her she would be dead.

missy says: The only animals I have ever seen there for "sale" are rescue animals. Also not ALL pet shops use puppy mills. Be careful who you slander.

SusieB says: That is so unfortunate that your PetSmart makes the choice to sell animals that way. Not every PetSmart operates like that, however. At my PetSmart, only animals that have been in rescue centers and shelters are brought in for weekly adoptions.
